Mark 11:22-24 | The Message
…That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything.
Beloved,
When you approach God in prayer, you must know the person that you are praying to. This is a major determining key to receiving answers to your prayers. Many people in the place of prayer do not have a solid knowledge about the God they are praying to. They are not different from the people of Athens who were worshipping and praying to the Unknown God (Acts 17:23).
The scripture is clear about a body of knowledge that you must have about God. Let us look at just two out of many:
- He is our Father (Matthew 6:9). This should give you a confidence that if He hears one person, He can hear you as well.
- He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
These are fundamental to every other thing you might need to know about Him as it relates to your interaction with God in prayer. I ask the Lord to reveal much more to you in Jesus’ name.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
Today is Day 4 of our Fasting and Prayer Summit: INSISTENCE. Don’t forget to join us.
