Matthew 25:21
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Beloved,
What our master, Jesus Christ expects of us as His servants is to be good and faithful. The Bible tells us that God gives to every servant according to his ability (Matt. 25:15). The question we now have to ask ourselves is: are we demonstrating the ability that God put in us? The parable made us understand that the good and faithful servants multiplied what their Lord gave them by two.
Apart from spiritual things, this can also be applied to physical things. All things belong to God, hence the wages we make also belong to God. So, after paying tithes, offerings, and bills, it is expected of us to multiply what is left as good and faithful servants. There should always be something left according to Proverbs 21:20 (New living translation).
What we need to do is to partner with God to help us manage our resources and every gift given to us; so that we can multiply them and show ourselves approved as good and faithful servants. It is expected of a servant to multiply the resources that the master apportions. This principle is to be applied to every areas of our life.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
