Isaiah 48:6 (AMP)
You have heard [these things foretold]; look at all this [that has been fulfilled]. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you [specific] new things from this time, even hidden things which you have not known.
Beloved,
There is no greater gift of God’s mercy than the ability to hear because your spiritual leadership is only as effective as your hearing ability. In any setting and gathering, the person that hears the voice of the Lord is the spiritual leader in that place. If you want to be safe, follow the person that has the voice of the Lord. It is wisdom to associate with people that can hear God. Do an audit of your relationships; when crises and life’s challenges come, the people that can hear the Lord are your greatest assets.
No matter how dark it is, go towards the voice of the Lord. The voice of the Lord will give you a new season, it will quench the fire that the enemy has set, and it will still the storm that may be brewing. People that do not or cannot hear are stunted in their faith. Develop your hearing, protect your hearing. Believe everything that God has spoken to you because it will surely come to pass.
Beloved, I pray for you to receive grace to become a waiter, a listener, and a hearer.
