Psalm 104:15
“And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart.”
Beloved,
The “bread“ the Psalmist is referring to here is the Word of God. As a believer, you must know where your strength lies. As we continue in this series you will get to know well that your strength lies in a number of places: it rests is in your kept secrets and in the covenant you have with God. It also rests in your instructions, prophecies, and daily practices. All of these are hidden for you in God’s word. God’s word carries the details, directions and information that are a critical source of strength for your life and walk with God on this side of eternity. Beloved, if you are feeling weak, find your strength in the words of your Father.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
