DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Psalms‬ 105:19-20‬ NLT‬‬‬‬

“Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character. Then Pharaoh sent for him and set him free; the ruler of the nation opened his prison door.”

Beloved,

We must be sensitive and expectant regarding our time of breaking forth.  The devil will make it seem like you’re stuck and limited, but you must never allow yourself  to behave as if Satan has the final say.

Imagine if Joseph had given up. He had every right to based on the series of negative experiences he suffered through unjustly. But years before those trials and tribulations came, Joseph received a word from the Lord and he governed his life accordingly.

God has written and spoken some wonderful things concerning your life. It’s Gods commitment to you, if you are His covenant child, to give you His word. But know that there is an appointed time for His word to come to pass. It’s up to you to receive it, wait for it, and govern yourself accordingly. Be patient and be vigilant.

Joseph received a prophecy. Yet, everything made it seem like his dream- the very dream he was excited about and that caused him so much friction with his brothers– would never come to pass.  Yet we all know it came into full manifestation at the appointed time.

If Joseph had not chosen to act like his prophecy even while he was still waiting patiently and going through many tests and trials, he will have easily missed his time of breaking forth.

You must not give up on God’s word concerning you, especially as you journey through the tests and trials of life.  If you have a word from the Lord, know that it’s sure and govern your attitude, habits and responses in life accordingly. Be patient. Be ready. You will make it! It’s just a matter of breaking forth.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
