It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. So much of your life, then, remains a mystery!
Beloved,
You don’t have a part to play in choosing your destiny, but you have a part in fulfilling it. This is why it takes a Holy Spirit-filled person to fulfill destiny. Your connection and dependence on the Holy Spirit will help you fulfill your destiny.
To fulfill your destiny, you must be desperate for the right knowledge. God will come to you, but you must respond to Him, Revelation 3:20. Jesus honors and respects you by standing at the door of your heart to knock but it is your responsibility to open the door to invite Him in. To chart the pathway of destiny, it is your responsibility to take the necessary steps on the path of destiny. Here are some necessary steps to realize destiny:
- Path of discovery: this is where you begin to ask questions such as “who am I?”, “what have I come to the earth to achieve?”, “what will I give account for when I return to God?”.
- Path of loneliness: this is where God brings about a separation from people, opinions, mindsets, ideologies, and associations that you had in the past. He does this to prepare you for the fulfillment of your destiny.
- Proving. This is where you are to prove what God has deposited in you in terms of gifts, talents, and divinely inspired ideas. What God told you in the secret place, you will have to prove in the open.
- Manifestation: this is where you begin to see a physical reality of had always been your spiritual reality. This is when others see what you alone had seen. To get to the point of manifestation, you need to have gone through the other steps of the process.
