Colossians 3:2
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth”
Beloved,
Last time we discussed the danger of a cluttered mind. In this and the next post, we will unpack why and how to develop a productive mind. Proverbs 4:23 says guard your heart with all diligence. You must be intentional about minding your mind. It is very easy for the cares of this life to creep into your mind little by little until it becomes completely carnal.
You must keep your mind and heart with all diligence. Your heart, by default, processes your thoughts or “the issues of life” as the Bible calls them. Your thoughts, once processed, shape your life and your experiences. Be careful to guide and guard your heart against negative thinking. Leaving your mind cluttered eventually wastes your time and reduces your efficiency and effectiveness in life. It’s only a matter of time. Next time, we will learn how to guard our minds.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
