Beloved,
Yesterday we began to examine the concept of living in a meaningful life. My goal is to help us appreciate the gift of life and to uncover for ourselves compelling reasons for living. To continue, we must first define life from the kingdom standpoint.
Life is a fragment of eternity, designed by God for man to be a part of His program on the earth and for a man to determine how to continue living after he passes on into eternity. This is important to note because we are spirit beings first of all and our spirit is eternal. It is our bodies that dies and decomposes at cessation of life on earth. Everyone’s spirit will exist eternally, but where? Your choices will determine where you end up being. Your life on earth will determine where you will spend eternity.
For your life to be meaningful, it must be linked to God’s program on the earth. How much of the time you have spent on the earth has contributed to God’s program on the earth? How is your current life determining how your future will be? Beloved, live in such a way that eternal life with God is guaranteed. Surrender your life to Christ to assure this.
