John 16:33 (AMPC)
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
Beloved,
Yesterday, I taught that the goal of oppositions is to make you cave in under life’s pressure. Oppositions seek to get you weary and exhausted, and you must guard against it. Oppositions wants to make a man to stop making progress in the pursuit of God’s program for his life. The devil does not want you to become all you must be so he does all he can to keep you stagnated in life.
In the face of opposition, trust God to give you the ability to know what to say and how to say it. Jesus operated with such an irresistible mouth and wisdom when He walked the earth, Luke 21:15. Practically, leaders lead with words. So train yourself to be wise and pray continually for the impartation of the spirit of wisdom and revelation. One major manifestation of this wisdom is what the Bible calls the proceeding word of God; that is, the word for the present. In the face of oppositions, wait on God to receive that word of grace and wisdom that your oppositions will not be able to gainsay.
Understanding time will help you know how to overcome every opposition. This is because, oppositions and crises seek immediate attention, John 7:1-3. Don’t let people push you out of time or manipulate you with a wrong sense of urgency. Stay within the boundary of truth, prophecy, and covenants. Don’t allow people to move you to what looks like truth but is not truth. You will never confront oppositions by moving into what is not truth because the main reason for the opposition in the first place is because you’re standing for the truth. As you grow older, you must stay within the boundary of what God is telling you directly or through his servants
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
