DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

1 Timothy 4:14-15

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

Beloved,

We established yesterday that you need to be creative because God wired it into your DNA, and because creation is blessed when you deploy your creative abilities. In order to manifest creatively, certain tools are required:

1. Meditative critical thinking. Be observant. Don’t just enjoy things; observe how they work. Train yourself to think and act creatively. Ask probing questions about how things work. You usually won’t find what you are not deliberately looking for. Essential questions to ask include (Deuteronomy 4:32 MSG):
* How does this work?
* How can it work better?
* What is the future of this?

2.  Trust the Lord for grace that releases in you all forms of wisdom and practical understanding, Ephesians 1:8 TPT. Constantly declare this scripture upon your life. A lot of people are frustrated because their ideas are unrealistic; the ideas are sponsored by the devil seeking to waste their time. When you have wisdom and practical understanding, your pursuits in life will be realistic and will bear much fruit.

3. Imagination, Genesis 11:4-6. You can only accomplish what you can imagine, be it positive or negative. Pray in the Holy Spirit for your eyes of imagination to be lightened up according to Ephesians 1:18. Regularly boost your imagination and stop imagining bad things, Acts 4:25 AMPC. Take back your imagination from wrong thinking or else you will destroy the power of your positive imagination.

4. Association. Begin to associate with the right people, Proverbs 13:20. Stop finding yourself in the company of unproductive people who can’t empower your imagination. Don’t walk with people who have chosen not to improve on themselves. Association helps you to upgrade your thinking, Proverbs 27:22 AMPC.

5. Practice separation, Revelation 1. Separate yourself through spiritual activities to get divine inspiration. Proverbs 23:31-33 tells us that when it comes to spiritual matter, you will discern things.

Beloved, partner with God to manifest creatively this year and let creation benefit from the deposits of God in you.

I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
