Luke 10:16-17
He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who
rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me. Then the seventy returned with joy,
saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
Beloved,
God’s instruction will soon come to you to take that step and it is when you proceed that you will see the power of God at work. When the Bible says these signs shall follow them that believe, it means you have to move first before something is able to follow you.
Nothing follows a stationary object. You are here reading from me today because I am not standing still in equipping myself for your sake. People and resources will come to you when they see that you are growing and progressing in life. Resolve to grow and improve on yourself.
From the scripture before us, we see that the commitment of Jesus to His disciples didn’t manifest until they went. You never can tell what God can do through you until you start moving. Many unknown parts of your destiny will begin to break out when you start moving.
Many people are afraid of stepping out because they think they are incapable. They are too careful of falling and too mindful of their image. The Bible tells us to receive the things of the kingdom like a child.
You might call it a fall, but I call it gaining mastery. A toddler that is learning to walk will stumble and fall many times, but he never stops trying until he masters the skill of walking and running.
Beloved, the less qualified you feel, the more willing God is to work with you. This is because you will have no other choice but to run to Him for help and assistance when challenges arise.
I commend you to God and the word of His grace.
