Romans 6:15–16 (MEV)
“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? God forbid! Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves to obey, you are slaves of the one whom you obey—whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”
Beloved,
Every day, whether we realize it or not, we yield. We yield our thoughts, our decisions, our emotions, and even our habits. The question is not if we yield — it’s to whom we yield.
When we gave our lives to Christ, we yielded everything to Him — not some parts, but all. Yielding is more than surrendering in worship; it is the daily posture of the believer’s heart. It means to present yourself, to submit, to obey, and to give up your right to lead yourself.
Whatever you yield to gains authority over you. Yield to anger, and anger governs your actions. Yield to the Spirit, and peace will rule your heart.
I commend you to God and the WORD of His GRACE. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS!
