1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
Beloved,
The devil is a liar. But to the believer, he is a deceiver. Just as there are some foods and drinks that appear innocent, but by the time you see the fine print, you realize its toxic to your health and destiny, you must also be careful to guard your heart and everything God has given you from satanic attack . If you are remain ignorant and careless about your life and destiny in Christ, you will end up paying for it (Hebrews 12:14-15). In this series will look at some of the ways the devil attempts to gain access to your life and what you can do about it.
The first I want to bring up is offense or the Root of bitterness. No matter how you feel a person has wronged you, be careful not to cross over the boundary into bitterness.
Luke 17:1
Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
The devil loves to sow seeds of discord and offense. He knows that a house divided against itself can never stand.
Choose instead the fruit of the Spirit. See and respond to earthly experiences and other humans as God would, in accordance with His leading. Do not leave room for Satan to interpret things for you or you will lose every time. We will look at more next time. Until then, I commend you to God and the word of His grace. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS.
