Romans 6:15–16 (MEV)
“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? God forbid! Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves to obey, you are slaves of the one whom you obey—whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”
Beloved,
Every life is shaped by the choices it repeatedly makes. We may think of “slavery” only in negative terms, but in the Kingdom, slavery to righteousness is liberty in disguise. Every time you choose something—an attitude, a reaction, a habit—you yield your strength to it. Over time, it becomes your master.
Choose begging over working, and you become dependent.
Choose excuses instead of effort, and you train your mind for limitation.
Choose self-pity, and you’ll live smaller than your calling.
But when you choose obedience, responsibility, and faith, these decisions begin to strengthen your spiritual backbone.
Beloved, you can’t serve two masters. You are either being shaped by sin’s pull or refined by God’s will. The difference between defeat and dominion lies in the direction of your yielding.
I commend you to God and the WORD of His GRACE. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS!
