Matthew 19:8 | NKJV
…From the beginning it was not so…
Beloved,
The instruction of the Lord came so strong to me in recent days that “Don’t be a circumstantial being,” and I want to pass the message across to you too. There are many things that are no more the way they were from the beginning. Many destinies have been compromised as opposed to what they were designed to be and this, many times is traceable to how they succumb to circumstances.
We have seen people marrying someone because of circumstances—the guy seems to be caring when she needs help and despite the fact she knew from her spirit that they are not meant for each other, she went ahead to marry him. Some have picked up a career because it is the only job that is available. There are people relocating two different parts of the world because of circumstances. This should not be.
The pressure of circumstances is real. I understand how they can enforce a way of thinking and a way of life to human life. However, there is no circumstance strong enough to force you to a permanent adjustment if you will fight and become restless to revert the position. This is what many people (especially believers) do not want to do. Most people have left their lives to chance because they cannot fight.
Your destiny is too precious to live it into the hand of circumstance. Joseph would have died a beggar if he had left his life into the hands of circumstances. Ruth would have missed a destiny if she left it to the hand of circumstances. Don’t be a circumstantial believer. Don’t be a circumstantial member of a church. Don’t be attending a church because it is close to your house. As the prophecy of Isaiah stated it:
Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Isaiah 60:1 | Amplified Version, Classic
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
