Genesis 3:12 NKJV
Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”
Beloved,
Don’t waste your waiting period. The period of waiting on the Lord for the fulfillment of a promise should not be one of passivity but a period of active engagement. Today, I challenge you to be a good steward of your time, especially your waiting season. I will share with you two endeavors that should be the least you occupy yourself with while waiting.
Use your waiting moment to prepare yourself for what you are waiting for. If you are going somewhere, your preparation will announce. Waiting seasons are the perfect opportunities for assessing yourself and your situation, setting expectations, educating and developing yourself, and ensuring that you and everything around you are truly prepared for what you have been waiting for. May you be ready for what you are waiting for when it comes.
Use your waiting period to deal with the devil. While you are waiting, you must not waste your time. If Satan has his way, he will monopolize your time with what will not count or favor you in the long run. As you wait on God, there are critical things you can and should achieve in order to make the most of your time on this side of eternity. One of those things is frustrating the devil in his own chaos. A lot of times, delays are orchestrated by the devil; make him regret by causing maximal damage in his kingdom while you wait. This can be simply by confessing the word of God and daily intercession.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
