DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

Beloved,

The death of Jesus offered us His broken body as a receipt for the price paid for our sins. The usefulness of Christ’s body wasn’t known when he was on the earth, it was made known after He resurrected. He resurrected with His broken body or otherwise Thomas wouldn’t have believed.

The uniqueness of Jesus’ broken body is that it is a receipt to principalities and powers to show indeed that Jesus died for us. They cannot dare to say that event did not happen. So, whenever Satan shows up asking that you pay for something you actively or passively did and should receive judgment for, you can bring the receipt of the broken body of Jesus as proof of payment.

Before a man gives his life to Jesus, the devil sees a man he can molest, harass, and accuse before God. But when that man gives his life to Jesus, God no longer sees the man in his fallen state. In that man’s place, God sees Jesus with His pierced hands and His broken body.

Beloved, It is true that before you gave your life to Jesus, you might have committed outrageous sins in the past worthy of every guilt and shame you may feel, but the lack of the knowledge of what Jesus has accomplished for you will make the devil to keep accusing you to yourself, whereas God no longer have a record of those wrongdoings.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
