Matthew 14:19
Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.
Beloved,
In the feeding of the five thousand plus people, the Bible says Jesus took the bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to His disciples to distribute to the people. It was when the bread and fish was broken that it started multiplying. One can infer from this that God does not use unbroken things. Are you broken as a believer? It is possible for a person to be born again yet not broken. Scripture highlights the importance of being broken, itsays God will not overlook a contrite and broken heart.
Brokenness is a state in which God so works on you that He destroys the works of flesh in you; this was what God did for Moses. God couldn’t use Moses as he was: fully made under the educational system of Egypt, he was well versed in the culture and philosophy of Egypt and was to be made the next pharaoh ifhe remained. But when God finished working on him, he testified of himself that he couldn’t speak to Pharaoh because he was deficient in speech.
May God so work on you that you are willing to let go of what you have believed over time to accept what He has for you. This is what being a Christian is all about, God changing us to be what He wants us to be.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
