II Corinthians 4:13 NKJV
[13] And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,
Beloved,
As we learned from our last session, there is always more to explore. Possibilities are endless when you are rightly positioned in and with the Holy Spirit. Last time, we covered God’s part; we know He has the power and authority to make the impossible take place. Today, I want to place an emphasis on our role.
I titled this work “Explore” because it is what we must do. It is our actions that demonstrate our positions as a believer. We cannot say that we believe in the power of God without demonstrating our belief by the virtue of our obedience. Let’s look at this example:
Exodus 8:5-6 NKJV
[5] Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’ ” [6] So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.
See how Moses heeded the instruction of the Lord and Aaron heeded the instruction of Moses. The Lord can and will do things like suspend time for us. Ask Joshua (Joshua 10:12). But, it was up to Joshua to speak and act in accordance with his faith in God. Beloved, when it comes to exploring, it requires faith and your faith is demonstrated in how you speak and act, as we see in the opening scripture.
We have established that exploration -that is, looking for every opportunity we can for God to be glorified through our lives- is a must. We have established that exploring requires believing. Believing requires hearing and obedience to the right voices in life and especially, to the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Lastly, if we will explore properly we must know how to ask the right questions and prayer. Any clinical researcher will tell you that the most critical part of their work is asking the right questions and receiving answers from the right sources. They will also tell you that the procedure or process by which they ask the question is paramount. For the believer, it is through prayer. When we pray, especially in the Spirit, we gain a better sense of clarity with regard to what and how to explore. We get instructions and receive grace to follow divine protocols. We know and enjoy grace to enjoy God-sent help when we pray properly.
Beloved, do not limit your life to your natural experiences. Increase your faith by hearing God’s word concerning your life and His promises concerning it. Nurture your relationship with the Holy Spirit and enjoy the benefit of His leading and empowerment to explore the uncharted territories of your life and destiny. More can still happen for you, Beloved. Only believe.
I commend you to God and the Word of His Grace.
I call you BLESSED and NATIONS.
