Ezra 10:4 NKJV
Arise, for this matter is your responsibility. We also are with you. Be of good courage, and do it.”
Beloved,
Let’s continue to look at factors that influence the actions of men.
The Fear of God. Those without the fear of God are often seen to be wicked.
Hebrews 11:7
“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
Someone with the Holy Spirit, and the fear of the Lord will survive anywhere in the world. It will preserve one’s conscience.
The State Of Human Conscience. In Genesis 39:9, Joseph refused to give in to the enticement of his master’s wife to get him to sleep with her. This is because his conscience was alive and active. One who has a dead conscience will not have a bottom line. He will do anything as long as he gets the most benefit.
Faith. Faith can move men to do things that are unbelievable.
Relationship. 1 Corinthians 15:33, AMPC says:
“Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.”
When you move with the wrong crowd, you pick bad habits.
Information. The information Racheal had access to in Genesis 25:27-28 made her devise a plot to obtain the blessing meant for Esau for Jacob. Interpret information properly and you will benefit greatly from it.
Spirit interactions. Bible said in John 13:27 that Satan entered Judas, and immediately his next action was to betray Jesus. Be careful of the atmospheres your spirit interacts with or else, you will find yourself doing certain things because of a demonic influence.
It is important you take your time to analyze your actions. Know why you do what you do and what influences your actions, choices, decisions.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
