Galatians 3:2
This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Beloved,
Having learned the concept of the hearing of faith, it is important to develop this capacity in you so that you can enjoy all that God desires for you to enjoy on the earth. First, you must accept, receive, and welcome the word of the Lord when it comes to you. This acceptance might not be difficult for you if it is the word of the Lord, but if it is a word from God through His servant, some believers find it hard to accept, 1 Thessalonians 2:13. Don’t pass off the word from God as mere human opinion.
Pay attention to the word you have received. The distractions around us makes it difficult to pay attention, therefore, identify your distractions on time and eliminate them. The tuition you pay in the school of wisdom is attention because the things of the Spirit are very slippery. Don’t begin to pray blindly, you need to hear clearly first before you can start to pray effectively.
Characteristics of paying attention to God’s word.
Hear and interpret the words are hearing along with the word of faith which you have previously received and stored up in your spirit, build upon the foundation of the word of God in you. Beloved, if it means to shut down other distractions and put yourself on the diet of the word, strive to do so.
