Faith series – The Appearance Of Faith (I)

Habakkuk 2:4

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

As taught by scripture, faith has three major ways it can appear in manifestation:
 The Spirit of faith, 2 Corinthians 4:13, Romans 10:14.
 The law of faith, Romans 3:27, 10:5-10.
 The gift of faith, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.
The gift of faith is of two kinds. The first is the faith common to all believers – it is usually
powered by one’s personal belief and trust in God. The is made explicit in Mark 16:17 which
says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…”. Therefore from the youngest believer
to the oldest, everyone has this kind of faith.
The other is a special kind of faith – this is exercised by those endued with the gift of faith.
Don’t bother yourself to know whether your faith is of the special kind. What you need to
master is the use of your own measure of faith as given by God. If you master it well, it will
produce for you all the results you desire to have in life.
