Faith series – What Is Faith? (II)

Habakkuk 2:4

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Are you the type who claims to have faith but finds it hard to trust? Some claim to trust God yet do not trust His power or His ability to save. Some trust His power but not His wisdom yet the wisdom of God is an instruction of God to you.

Faith is a system through which one can obtain a good report and gain divine approval, Hebrews 11:2. Faith is declaring and saying so, so that it can be so, because God said so. You cannot say you are in faith if you don’t talk and consistently declare the word of God.

Faith is the key. Romans 4:16 lets us know that faith is tied to grace. If you don’t have faith, you cannot access grace and if you are lacking in grace, life will be hard to live, and you will be in perpetual struggle.

Faith is the bridge between two realities – now and is, Hebrews 11:1. Faith is a conversion system, it converts the reality of your present now to what exists already in the spirit realm, 1 John 2. If your present situation must change, it will take faith to make it happen.

Faith is the hand that the believer stretches to take what God supplies by grace through His hand of love. Your faith is what you bring to receive anything from God and prayer is the force through which you generate and express faith. Beloved, God is not looking for the volume in your prayers. If you are not generating or expressing faith, your prayer is just a religious activity.
