Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

In the fight of faith, the goal of the devil is to make a person yield to fear. The weapons of the enemy are often released through words. While you don’t have control over what people say, you have control over what you listen to. You have the choice to pay attention to the words of the attack or not. But your immediate reaction after the devil has launched his attack will determine if you will win or lose the battle.
Believers’ fight of faith is such that you can determine the outcome even before you step into the battle. A person with superior knowledge derived from intimacy with God and His word will maintain calmness in the face of life’s challenges, while those without this knowledge will be agitated.
The battlefield of the fight of faith is in the mind. This is why God instructs that we should disarm demonic imaginations and thoughts. Involvement in this fight certifies the authenticity of the expected outcome. It is part of the developmental process needed to acquire prophetic donations.
Beloved, knowledge is a powerful tool to achieve victory over the enemy in this fight. It is important to know enough of the devil to cast him out of your life and affairs and to keep him out. Knowledge is supplied to destroy the works of the devil and knowledge helps you to identify what enemy you are dealing with, and it helps you know how to confront that enemy.
As we continue this series, I will show you the weapons of the devil that you must be aware and knowledgeable of in order to be consistently victorious in the fight of faith. I will also supply spiritual intelligence to overcome such attacks of the enemy.
