Then he took servings to them from before him, but Benjamin’s serving was five times as much as any of theirs. So they drank and were merry with him.
Beloved,
Getting your portion requires you, first of all to know what is yours. There are some things we get through hard work, some things we get because as a gift, some things we must possess and some things we must inherit. How we position ourselves and make ourselves knowledgeable of the aforementioned, are major indicators of whether or not we will get what has been made ready and especially for us.
Start with asking the right questions. Pray. Ask God what is yours and listen to Him. He told Joshua the following as it pertained to him and the Israelite:
Joshua 13:1
Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the Lord said to him: “You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed.
In the chapter just before this one, the writer is listing off all of Joshua’s victories and accomplishments. He was now old, yet there was still more for him to possess.
Being in a right relationship with the Holy Spirit and making it your habit to inquire of Him, helps you to receive the information and strategies required for you to, not only get your possessions but to be ready for them.
Beloved, you can enjoy what Benjamin enjoyed. The Bible says this:
