God is Able.
2 Corinthians 9:8, NKJV
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Beloved,
Life has a way of reconfiguring our mindset. You may start out in life trusting and believing that God is trustworthy. But for several reasons, a time may come when you begin to doubt the power and ability of God to save and to deliver. Don’t ever doubt God’s ability to save!
God is able and powerful to save you, but He shows up on His terms, not on your terms. The ability of God is rooted in His divine nature of love, integrity, and faithfulness, 1 Thessalonians 5:24, 1 Corinthians 10:13. The following are ways God shows His ability among men:
– He has the ability to do more for you, 2 Chronicles 25:7-12, Ephesians 3:20. Scripture says God has the power to help and overthrow. You may have thought that the obstacles and mountains before you are insurmountable but let you revelation of God be more than what you are facing.
– He has the ability to deliver you, Daniel 3:16-18. You may be suffering the consequence of your past choices, but God is able to cover it with His grace. Rahab was a prostitute so famous that even the king of Jericho knew her. But her alignment with the purpose of God exempted her from the destruction that was to come to Jericho. More than that, she became one of the ancestors of Jesus.
– God is able to raise men to help and assist you, even when you least expect. As seen in the life of Elijah, God has many ways He can come through for His children. Before any problem arises, He already knows what He will do. Our responsibility is to pray to uncover His ways and means.
– God has the ability to build anything and anyone, Acts 20:32. He alone has the wisdom to build as revealed in Proverbs 24:3-4:
Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation]. And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Proverbs 24:3-4, AMPC
– God has the ability to make all grace abound toward you, 2 Corinthians 9:8. You don’t have to get everything in life by your efforts alone. Let the grace of God work for you, bringing to you the things that are unachievable by your efforts.
– He has the ability to restore, Hebrews 11:17-19. God can restore to you lost opportunities, resources, relationships, time.
– God has the ability to provide, Numbers 11:19-23,31. The Bible is replete with stories of divine provisions and if God did it then, He can provide all your needs supernaturally also.
Beloved, the ability of God should never be questioned. What requires focus is your belief and trust in God, and your ability to be patient and to wait at His terms until He comes through for you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
