Ezekiel 37:1
The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
Beloved,
1. God does not only settle us down in green pastures, He sometimes settles us down in the midst of the valley. He settles us down in green pastures as a proof of His goodness while He settles us down in the valley as a ground of proving our responsibility to Him.
2. When you are settled down amid a valley, you must know that what you do is not as important as what you say.
3. When the Lord wants to do something, He will first say it. However, He needs a man who will believe what He says, say what He says, and do what He says before He eventually does what He says.
The story of the valley of dry bones established this Kingdom’s due process. God wanted to make an army out of the dry bones, so the first thing was that He declared it. However, Ezekiel must believe God’s word, start saying what the Lord has said in prophecy, and do what the Lord commanded him to do. When this process was duly followed, God eventually did what He wanted to do.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
