Psalms 89:19, NKJV
“Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, And said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.”
To receive from God, the first step is to know how to receive. When you come to church, for example, you come to minister to God. We do this through worship. It’s a beautiful exchange where you give God what He wants, how He wants it. That’s true worship. As you worship Him in spirit and truth, you are ministered to by His presence. That’s the most important thing you need from God. That fellowship is the crux of our salvation. So, you come to church to minister to God, be ministered to by Him and through the people He has sent to minister to you, and to minister to men. That’s why I tell my members not to relegate fellowship after the service. It’s a critical time to minister to and receive from one another while our hearts are still right.
In this series, we are going to discuss how to receive from God-sent men. Beloved, know that God is the greatest giver. He can give you directly or He can give through men. We are going to be discussing how to receive from God through the latter.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
