As the Lord had commanded Moses his servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.
Beloved,
If Joshua missed any of the instructions that were given to him as recorded in the Joshua 1:1-8, he would have completely missed the eternal purpose of God for his life. He would not have understood that it was all preparation for his glorious future.
We are living in dangerous days when men are so busy developing their soul and flesh, it’s so difficult for them to honor, believe, and love the God of their salvation. It is so bad that that even so-called believers are beginning to decide the same. One can be born again quite well yet still lack a real relationship with the Holy Spirit, the One who should be guiding your journey. Still others are conscious of Him, yes. But they treat Him like a standby generator that they turn to when there is a power outage.
Beloved, this is not the way to journey. If, after serious self reflection or better, Holy Spirit conviction, you realize that you fall into any of the aforementioned categories, where your so busy moving, but you’re not moving with Him, I want to appeal to you to go back to your Bethel where you first met God. Ensure that you repent and build your relationship with Him. Move with Him. Abide with Him. Until that aspect of your life is properly aligned, your journey in life will be full of accidents, stagnation and wrong turns.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
