Romans 13:1-2
“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.”
Beloved,
God is looking for our submission to His authority and divine process. Does your life reflect this template yet? You will know it does when you are able to take your rightful place in kingdom governance. If your answer to the question is no, do not fret. As long as you are determined on this faith journey, anywhere is a good place to start. It is okay to start small. But as God grants you more grace, let your confidence grow to see and establish your identity as a son, a priest, who is submissive to God’s will and eternal plan for your life and especially as it pertains to the establishment of His kingdom everywhere.
To establish kingdom governance, you must be equipped with the following tools:
- Wisdom. This was exactly what Solomon asked for because he knew instinctively that the absence of wisdom will produce a nation of confused people living in chaos and anarchy.
- Justice. Only a king can understand what it means to grant justice to people who have been cheated by the devil. When you know that the devil is a thief whose singular purpose is to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, you will legislate on behalf of God’s people to reverse that order.
- Authority and power. All power belongs to God, and as His children and delegates, He has given us the authority to deploy that power everywhere we see the devil manifesting, or we see things out of alignment to God’s will.
- Law enforcement agents. We must be aware of and regularly deploy agents that enforces the will of God in any given situation, such as faith, angels, the communion, the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus.
- The word of God. The word of God is the boundary of God’s operation in the life of the believer. This is what God is committed to. Our responsibility is to allow God’s word to dwell in us richly so that we use this to commit the Holy Spirit to move on our behalf.
- Seed. A seed does not necessarily have to be money alone. We can offer our time and other resources to the work of the kingdom. The reason why we advocate that believers sow seeds in God’s kingdom is the revelation of what God himself said in Genesis 8:22 that as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will never cease.
Beloved, let your life on earth be as it is in heaven. By this you are making your light shine, and as it shines, men will see your good works and they will give glory to your Father in heaven.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
