Know the Difference II

Beloved,

The same Lord who is at work in the days of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5) is still the same Lord who is the Lord of the church. Lack of this understanding will get us on the wrong side of God. Respecting differences will put caution in everything we do. In the days of Ananias and Sapphira there were many liars in Jerusalem. They just happened to lie at the wrong place and to the wrong person. They thought they were dealing with mere men – this shows a lack of the knowledge of difference. You must know when you’re dealing with God and when you’re dealing with men. Some people don’t understand that difference and they end up missing God by a mile.

Sometimes the move of God will come on very ordinary days when you are not expecting much to happen. But such move will happen in an environment that permits and allows the full expression of the Holy Spirit. It is your responsibility to never be casual about the things of God because at any time, God may show up for the sake of His people. Lack of knowledge of the law of difference will make you to miss out on the blessings that should have been your portion in such an atmosphere.

Another manifestation of the lack of the knowledge of difference is the limitation men put on God in the face of daunting projects. If a vision is divinely-inspired, cost should not be the first thing you consider not should it stop you. Whenever you’re dealing with God, don’t think about money so you don’t miss God. Don’t think about the cost because God takes care of the cost. He did it for Abraham when God instructed him to go sacrifice Isaac, his son. The Bible said God Himself provided for Himself the sacrificial lamb. If it is of God, God will make every provision available to fulfill the vision He gave.

When you have the sense of difference flowing in your spirit; the power to become manifests in your life, to become everything that your destiny calls for you to become.
