John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Beloved,
Satan bears two names among believers which you must never forget; he is a liar and a deceiver.
As a liar, he takes advantage of the ignorance of people to distort facts and truths to them, he then convinces them that the lie is the truth, and the truth is the lie. If the devil’s work as a liar is not uncovered, exposed, and resolved, he will graduate to be a deceiver and thus make a
victim of his lies a disciple of his.
Now, out of all the seven spirits of Jesus we all must have, you must have a very high regard for the Spirit of knowledge and understanding. This is because without these two, you cannot function in the wisdom of God, nor will you be able to uncover the deception of Satan or guard
against it.
Beloved, there is a knowing in man that is sensual in nature – a product of our human senses. But there can also be a knowing in a regenerated man that is revelational in nature. In essence, the spirit of knowledge and understanding are weapons of the Holy Spirit to guard against the
spirit of lies and deception.
