Philippians 4:9 AMP
The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.
Beloved,
As we round off this series on daily practices for effective living, let’s explore two more things you must do each day.
Daily work. You must work daily. Here, I am not talking about your job, but the work of your destiny; the two are different for most people. You may give 8 hours to your job per day; you should also give some time to your destiny per day, no matter how little. Make sure you are depositing something in the direction of your destiny assignment daily.
Daily learning, Deuteronomy 17:19 NLT tells us what any appointed king in Israel must do if he would govern well; he must daily read the law and learn to fear the Lord. We all can borrow wisdom from this.
The day a man stops working and learning, he starts to die. The work of the Holy Ghost in your life will not be complete if you don’t learn. This is because His ministry in a man’s life is two-fold: to teach and to remind. If you don’t put anything inside of you by way of learning, what will He remind you of? Therefore, seek to learn daily.
Beloved, we have considered some things we just trust the Lord to experience daily and some other things that we must do daily. The Bible says,
II Peter 1:8 NKJV
[8] For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I encourage you to be committed to doing all these things so that you will be neither barren nor unfruitful. Rather, your profiting will be apparent to all.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
