Job 28:1
“Surely there is a mine for silver, And a place where gold is refined.
Beloved,
Yesterday, we established the truth that you must allow Jesus to be your primary Refiner as He is in the best position to draw out your schedule for your refining process. One major thing that He will clarify is where your refining process must take place. Just like extraction of stones must happen at a quarry, refining of destiny has places where it must happen.
When God wanted to start refining the destiny of Saul who became Paul, the first thing God did was to direct him to Ananias (Acts 9:6). For every believer, the first place God reserves as your refinery is His ordained local church. While Jesus is the father of a believer, the God-ordained church remains the mother of a believer. Church is the place where a lot of shaping takes place. It is there the Lord commands the blessing and every move that is associated with activating the blessing.
As my father in destiny (Rev. Olusola Areogun) usually says, we are equal in salvation but different in the assets and liabilities we bring to the kingdom. When the Head of the church visits His church, He comes with every facet of His word to rid us off all the debris, purify us, break us and mold us to be what He wants us to be.
A believer that embraces the prophetic side of the word but rejects the corrective side of the word is a dangerous person to deal with. Be an “all scripture” believer. Don’t prefer a side of scripture and excuse yourself of others. I tell them in my church that if I can be bold to bring the word of prophecy, I must be bold to bring you the word of correction. This kind of working of God’s word works at its best at the church.
Destiny does not just happen because you’re aware of it, destiny happens because you cooperate with God to work it.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
