Acts 2:17-18
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, ‘That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions. Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.”
Beloved,
No matter how strong, intelligent or gifted you are…. no matter how much life experience you carry, as long as it’s natural, its limited. It does not matter how much you paid for it. It does not matter the degree or pedigree from which it hails. If it is natural, it has limits.
Precious children of God, it gives Satan much pleasure to know just how little you know about who you are in Christ. When you give your life to Christ, do not be deceived into believing that you are living a life that is so poured out, you’re just empty with nothing to offer and nothing to enjoy but the suffering that comes with salvation. When you surrendered all to Jesus, you made an unfair exchange, yes. But that exchange that you made is to your advantage. The advantage is the gift of His sweet, Holy Spirit.
Sadly, too many fail to allow His Spirit to lead, thinking, naively, that they know best. As a result, they usually fall into some situations that leave them in a state of loss.
When you find yourself in situations that leave you stagnant, dry and low, it means there has been a lack of flow. In such cases, it is time for an outpouring. Beloved, you need the outpouring of His Spirit to go to work in your life. God, in His mercy, has established a supernatural system for such seasons best described as ‘dry’. Beloved, God, in His mercy, can never leave us high and dry. There are times when dew and latter rain will not suffice. Hence, God ordained a season of overflow best known as a season of outpouring. Outpouring refers to the glorious gift of God Almighty, flooding our fleshly, earthen vessels with something greater and more glorious than the dry experiences we are currently faced with. He gives us His Spirit to not only strengthen us, but to grace us with undeniable power that has the capacity to quiet the dry seasons and nay sayers in our lives. It is my prayer that as we attend to this series, God will attend to you with an outpouring of His Spirit in your life.
I commend you to God and the Word of His grace. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS
