John 14:6 NLT
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
Beloved,
Today, we discuss the pillar of prayer. Prayer is a pillar of divine communication. When operated as established by scripture, it connects us with the heart of the Father and it is a major way to get things done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Of all the pillars we have discussed so far, prayer is the one Christians will always find an excuse to be complacent about. Either we are always too busy or we pray amiss or our prayers are too far and in between. The Bible says we ought to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). But oftentimes we relent in the place of prayer.
Beloved, prayerlessness is more dangerous than many of us realize. I have warned my members of the following prayerlessness is a deadly disease. It separates us from God and causes our lives to decay.
If you do not have a solid prayer life, I implore you to have one. Set aside time to pray. Make it a sacred time. Have a prayer journal or notebook. Have your Bible so that you can avoid praying amiss. Have an accountability partner. Don’t delay. Jumpstart your prayer life today.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
