Proverbs 3:26
For the LORD will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.
Confidence is needed in relating with God. You do not have to understand the dealings of God with you fully every time. However, you must be able to trust Him every time. If God shows you a vision, the cost will be bigger than your pocket. You may not be able to comprehend the entirety of the vision neither. Sometimes God seems silent after He gives the first instruction. Your confidence in Him keeps you going. Joseph is an example. For 13 years, he did not see any additional vision from God, but he remained confident in God.
Secondly, you need your confidence in exercising your authority in Christ. You need confidence to deploy spiritual endowment and engage your world. It is not enough to know your rights and carry the weapons needed to fight. You need confidence in attacking your enemy. If you have a weapon without confidence, you are defeat able.
In addition, you need confidence to rise in life. For example, you need confidence in interacting with your boss and colleagues. There is a wealth of knowledge that you need that only comes from people. You must engage people to get that information. Confidence will make you ask questions, and to share your idea. In order to boost your confidence, get rid of condemnation, low self-esteem, fear of failure and memory of past failures. Enhance your confidence by becoming aware of the kingdom covenants, e.g., covenant of life, multiplication, and sure mercies of David.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
