Genesis 45:5
But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.
Beloved,
Learn to see what God is doing around you and in your life. There are three ways you can choose to look at things in life: you can choose to see things from your own perspective, or you can choose to see it from a demonic perspective, or you can choose to see it from God’s perspective.
God is saying to you, “train yourself to start seeing what he is doing in your life and not what the devil is doing”. When God was working on Joseph, what the devil wanted him to see was the wickedness of life, family and friends, and other unrelated people. He helped interpret someone’s dream and the person forgot all about him and his kind assistance. He was trying to be faithful at his workplace and he was framed and put into prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He was trying to obey the law of God and it seemed that put him into trouble.
From these experiences, imagine the picture the devil was painting of people to him. The devil wanted him to see that God was not faithful enough to protect His own people. But notwithstanding all these several attempts by the devil to misrepresent God, people, and situations to Joseph, he chose to see what God was doing. He chose to see the faithfulness of God and the workings of God in everything that He was doing.
Beloved, train yourself to see what God is doing in your life.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
