Joshua 3:5
And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Beloved,
Your tomorrow will soon become today. You must be aware when it is here. Develop your sensitivity to know when the future is here. Be ready for the future when it comes. Live ready for every opportunity that comes your way. Be fitted to take on those opportunities. Keep fit physically and spirituality and have resources ready to enter into your future when it comes. Anytime an opportunity comes, and you cannot take it, it is either because it is not time to take hold of that opportunity, or you have missed an instruction that should have prepared you for it sometime in the past. If famine had ravaged Egypt, it would have been Egypt’s fault because an instruction already came ahead.
Be careful of things that defeat men in their future and guard against them. Some of them are:
– Weaknesses of the flesh, 2 Corinthians 12:10.
– Wrong mindset.
– Wrong assumption and underrating the enemy.
– Lack of strategic planning and preparation.
– Pride and arrogance.
– Ignorance.
– Isolation. Don’t isolate yourself from the things and people that will take you to and keep you in the future.
– Time wastage. Time is life and life is time; he who wastes your time wastes your life.
Beloved, the glory that comes with the future often amplifies what is in your heart. So, work on your heart. Fame, power, and money will come. If you are materialistic or immoral, the future will amplify it. May you be wise when the future comes.
