Ecclesiastes 10:10, KJV
If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
Beloved,
We have things in our lives that helps life to go seamlessly and easily for us. You must not neglect what works for you; you must regularly service them. Like you regularly service your car for optimum performance, so you must regularly service your spirit, soul, and body.
Scripture tells us that when the axe is dull, you will exert more effort and spend more time to cut the tree. Wisdom says what you should rather spend time on is the sharpening of the axe blade.
There are things you must service intentionally as you continue in life. We will start today by talking about your body. Service your health. Do not let your health breakdown. Go for regular and necessary check up of your health. Know when and how your body is talking to you. Keep yourself active and strong. Don’t let yourself grow old so soon. Activate the spirit of life in Christ Jesus over your health. Leave in such a way that, like Caleb, you will be able to take mountains, even in your old age.
Beloved, maintaining your health is not to be done like a hypochondriac or out of fear. It should be done out of wisdom and faith.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
