Signs (III)

Beloved,
Beware of compromise. Compromise in the critical areas of your life will keep you from seeing major signs that the Lord desires to make available to you. When you are compromised, you can never see clearly.  That’s why the devil is careful to stylishly make his way into your affairs through your habits or whatever way he can so he might cause you to miss what God is doing. Two major areas you must never compromise in are in your of worship and your church life.
As you see in verse 4-6 in the passage above, your enemies can come, boldly and unannounced to address you in your meeting places. How will they meet you there? In your meeting places there is unity; unity is needed to be a force against him.  So, what will your enemies do? They will cause disunity. They will do anything that will distract you from seeing what God wants to do in your life. When your church Life is compromised, you are guaranteed to miss major moves.  No matter how beautiful your church is.  Acting in ways that make it ugly gives room for the devil to disrupt the time you ought to be building each other up, ministering to one another, and hearing from God. Don’t forget that a major way God communicated to His sons is through His body, the body of Christ and that is your local and universal church. No wonder the devil always finds a way to make the church look foolish; he does not want you to have what you will only be able to get through your God-ordained local church. Don’t allow satan to come in and scatter your church or your church life.
Don’t let Him compromise your worship time either. Both your personal time and your corporate time with God. Fellowship is so critical; you can’t afford to miss anything. Church and worship are key places of receiving signs from God. The next question is how you can be sure you don’t get to a place where you miss your signs. We will cover that next time.
