Philippians 4:4b-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.
Beloved,
If, as a laborer in God’s vineyard, you find yourself working by your own strength, know that it is time for a grace boost. As we said the last time, grace is a precious, costly gift from God. As with any gift you receive, the least you can do is be grateful. One thing I know about grace is that when you receive it with thanksgiving you are bound to receive more of it. If you notice the grace side of your life is low, check your gratitude level. If you do not carry an attitude of gratitude, then it is easy to relegate and overlook the places in your life where grace should be working for you.
Are you struggling with depression? Most of the time, depression comes when things are not going the way they ought. When things aren’t going the way they should for you, its traceable to one of two reasons: you didn’t partner with the Holy Spirit to get things done right or you are struggling in the place of thanksgiving.
You should always have something to thank the Lord for. To boost thanksgiving in your life, practice verbalizing your gratitude as you decide to see purpose and provision in every place and circumstance of your life daily. Show God that you are not an ingrate and enjoy the boost of grace and of blessing over your life that He is so eager to bestow upon you.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
