Psalm 155:16
“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.”
Beloved,
The great thing about being a believer is that the outcome of your life does not have to be decided by the caprices of chance. You don’t have to depend on luck. You are not required to be a slave of circumstances. The problem of many Christians though, is that they fail to take responsibility for their lives.
Heaven and earth and all things belong to God; that is true. But the ability to make decisions, He gave to you. Authority over the earth, He gave to you. Yes, involve God in your decision making. Trust His will for your life, but don’t blame Him when things seem to be going awry for you. Take control of your life. He has given you everything you need to take authority over your life. You can choose to believe and confess His word over matters. You can choose to discipline yourself. You can choose to walk by faith. You can choose to ask for help.
Be a good steward of the life God has given to you. Take responsibility. Learn to put time to things. Don’t let time put you into trouble. Analyze matters and look at the cost versus the benefit of the things you want to get involved in. Make a decision. Get to know your God and the help He has made available to you. Get to know yourself, improve yourself and put structure in place where needed. Have a clear vision for your life. Live purposefully. Live in alignment with the faith God has called you to. Don’t live your life passively.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
