The Anointing

Ezekiel 2:2

“The Spirit came into me as he spoke, and he set me on my feet. I listened carefully to his words.”

Beloved,

One of the things many are taking for granted today is the anointing.  This is unfortunate because if you will achieve anything meaningful under the heavens, it will take the anointing.

What does the anointing do for children of God? Among other things, it speeds up divine processes. The devil is good at distracting us with all manners of lies and other disruptions. Sometimes, by the time we realize we have been deceived, we have wasted ample time. The anointing has a way of expediting processes for us in order to help us along on our journey.

Another thing the anointing does is help us to carry more.  If you are a serious Christian, you know you are called to do more than live an ordinary life.  You are living now to live again. But more than that, you’re choosing to partner with God to accomplish His will on the earthd.  This will require you to do more.

Sometimes, people look at my wife and they wonder how she does all that she does. She is a wife (of a pastor at that), the mother of our 5 precious daughters (and she is raising them well!), a churchadministrator, a writer, a medical professional, a business owner, and a pastor, to name a few. She does not have a minute to waste, and yet she does all with grace and excellence because she is not doing it on her own accord. She is anointed to do more. She can carry more than the average person because she is yielded to the anointing.

Beloved, if you have not done so, kindly make sure you are truly born again by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and  Savior.  Begin to walk in your purpose. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in you and receive what only the Holy Spirit can offer you.
