Jeremiah 29:10-11 NKJV
For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you and cause you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Beloved,
God is committed to your future while the devil is committed to your past. Your future is critical to God, this is why He wants to guide and direct you to that future. On the other hand, your past is critical to the devil as he does not want you to get to the future God has for you. The devil seeks to have you tied to your past with guilt, shame, and condemnation; don’t allow him.
To get to that future which the Lord has for you, commit to the following building blocks of a good future:
* Meditate. Let the thoughts of God for you become your thoughts. Start thinking right. Start meditating on your future as communicated to you by the Holy Spirit. Start meditating on the word of God.
* Subscribe to quality information. You must regularly review the body of knowledge you have acquired over time. You must also discipline yourself to do your own quality research, Daniel 9:1-3, Jeremiah 29:10.
* Have a strong prophetic voice speaking over you, Jeremiah 1. Do this by submitting to the shepherd in whose flock God has placed you. You need a prophetic voice to give you instructions and information, and to pave the way for you in the spirit, 2 Chronicles 26:5.
* Have daily or habitual practices. These should include your habitual spiritual practices that every Christian should engage in such as quiet time, praying in the Spirit, studying the word, and so on. They should also include destiny practices, that is, things you do habitually because it is necessary for your destiny or because they are specific instructions given to you by God, Judges 13:12.
* Develop every necessary skill for the future that the Spirit of God has communicated to your spirit.
* Develop quality and healthy relationships. All men are products of influences; it is your primary responsibility to determine who influences you.
* Your seed is a building block for your life. Sow your seed carefully in the right soil.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
