DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Matthew 9:35

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Beloved,

Membership in the kingdom of darkness is automatic. Any man born of a woman is by default a citizen of the kingdom of darkness till he decides or chooses to follow Christ . My prayer for you is that not only will you begin to enjoy what is available to you as a citizen of the kingdom of God but more importantly, that you will learn how to establish the kingdom wherever you may find yourself.

It is one thing for you to enjoy the benefits of God’s kingdom, but it is another thing entirely to be able to establish that kingdom around you. You are still going to be limited if you only enjoy the benefits, but the kingdom itself is not established for you and around you.

The Bible tells the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot was a righteous man but if God didn’t have mercy on him, he and his family would have been destroyed together with the city.

People relocate to developed countries seeking better living standards and greater opportunities. But it is one thing for you to come to the land of opportunities, it is another thing for you to know how to harness those opportunities to work for you. You can be a Christian, but someone must sit you down to explain to you what your experience must be living in the kingdom or else, you will live life as though Jesus died and rose in vain.

Upon sighting some so-called Christians, many people are unimpressed by them, and they are not motivated by what they see to become Christians themselves. The lives of those people might be a representation of the wickedness of the devil, yet they are believers. Beloved, I ask you, which kingdom do you belong to?

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
