For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Beloved,
Let’s continue our lesson concerning life in God’s kingdom. As we discussed the last time, life in the kingdom of God is more than a privilege, it is our inheritance. The benefits that come with sonship are unspeakable. The culture of God’s kingdom is so pervasive, its heirs don’t have to wait for heaven to enjoy it! It’s a force we can and must enjoy right now! Hence, Jesus teaches us to pray as follows:
Matthew 6:10 NKJV
Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
You know, by now, that when you subscribe to God’s kingdom in your life, by declaring Jesus both Savior AND Lord; you are agreeing to joyful and total surrender to His will and way. The benefit of this for you is that in addition to your obedience to Him, EVERYTHING concerning you must surrender to His will for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Everything includes people, places, situations, spirits and angels, alike.
Beloved, the kingdom life is the supernatural life. The supernatural life is unexplainable, but undeniable. When you choose to declare God Lord over your life, you are choosing to live life as it is in heaven- and the difference will be so clear! When you are truly surrendered to His will, you give the Holy Spirit permission to take full control of everything concerning you. The word of God tells us this:
Romans 8:11 NLT
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
When you choose supernatural living, when you choose the kingdom of God, your life can never be ordinary again.
