Romans 8:14 NKJV
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Beloved,
Once you give your life to Christ, you activate the Holy Spirit as the authority in your life. You give Him a say in your affairs. When you fully surrender to His will, that is, you choose to obey Him, you’re invariably deciding that His way is far more beneficial to you than any of the ways of the world. As a result, your life will no longer be ordinary. It becomes extraordinarily supernatural.
The supernatural life is the kingdom life. This divine life in God’s kingdom affords you the glorious benefit of sonship and with sonship comes the inheritances of the saints. What is the inheritance of the saints, you ask?
- Blessings, Genesis 28:3-4
- Christ, Hebrews 3:4
- Divine nature, 1 Peter 1:2-4
- Heavenly calling, Hebrews 3:1
- Chastisement, Hebrews 12:7-8
- Grace, Philippians 1:7
- The glory, 1 Peter 5:1
Take your time to study each of the scriptures above as each emphasizes the glory, authority and empowerment of your inheritance in Christ Jesus.
Beloved, I share each of these with you so that you can choose not to limit your life to only what appeases your earthly nature. Your spirit is eternal. You are made in God’s image and you are not only worth much more, you are capable of much more than you know or than the devil knows because the Holy Spirit, Who is a Force all by Himself, is at work in you, making you invincible and unstoppable! But you must be willing to put in the work.
What is the work, you ask? The work required to enjoy the Holy Spirit at maximum capacity in your life requires the training of your spirit. We discussed obedience to the Holy Spirit, yes. But before you can fully obey Him, you must be able to hear Him. We will cover the steps to developing the ability to do so next time.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
