Luke 17:20-21
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Beloved,
The kingdom of God is not visible to the natural eye, it is within and will first land in your spirit. Its communication to you and its release into your life will be spiritual. The exceedingly great and precious promises that are given to us from the word of God are neither visible nor tangible.
It is the same with sickness and other negative effects. Sickness is first spiritual; the pain you feel in your body is just evidence that the sickness is there. But if healing is administered to you, and you are waiting for the physical pain to disappear as proof that you have been healed, you may miss it. You must first believe that you have received that healing by faith.
The ignorance of men about the spirituality of the kingdom of God can be likened to a child who is playing with the knob of a gas cooker. When an adult who can detect and perceive the odor steps into the room, he can shut down the gas that has been escaping. Because that child didn’t see naked fire, his thinking would be that what he did was harmless. Beloved, the power of the kingdom may be latent but it is so explosive.
