Romans 14:16-17

Therefore, do not let your good be spoken of as evil; for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Beloved,

The presence of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost is a litmus test for believers. How do you know you have it or your family has it? Pass your life and family through its test. Is the righteousness of God in your home? What about His peace? What about His joy? Joy in the Holy Ghost means in your current situation, there might not be any reason for you to be happy, yet your spirit is full of unspeakable joy. It is when you have this joy that you will then be able to fulfill the scripture that says “the joy of the Lord is my strength”.

The joy of the Holy Spirit is one thing you must guard jealously in your home. These elements are so interwoven, there is no way you will have joy that you won’t have peace and there is no way you will have peace that you won’t have joy.

Learn to always cultivate an atmosphere of God in and around your home. You could have Godly songs playing in the background in your home most of the time. “Why?” you may ask. The simple answer to that as my father-in-destiny explains it, music is a vehicle that takes you back to where it came from. Most songs that stay with you, that you find near impossible to forget their lyrics were powered from the spirit realm. Before you like a singer, first find out the spirit that is supplying the inspiration.

When you want to cultivate joy in your home, play songs inspired by the Holy Spirit. That way you are setting the atmosphere that will cause the right Spirit to begin to interact with your own spirit. Beloved, you may not be able to take charge of the whole world, but you have the requirements to take charge of your own world. You can determine the spirit that works in your home.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
